Privacy Policy

Master Prompter ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our teleprompter application available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier. Apple users may choose to hide their email.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as app opens, feature usage, and device type to improve the app experience.

Text Content (Pro only): If you are a Pro subscriber, your text scripts are synced to our servers for cross-device access. Free users' texts are stored only on their device.

Subscription Data: We process subscription information through Apple's App Store to manage your Pro membership.

We do NOT collect: Videos you record, your location, contacts, browsing history, or any data not explicitly described above.

We use your information to: provide and maintain the app, authenticate your identity, sync texts across devices (Pro users), process subscriptions, send important service updates, and improve app functionality.

Your data is stored on secure servers located in Finland (Hetzner). Text files for Pro users are stored using Cloudflare R2 storage with encryption. We use HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission, JWT tokens for authentication, and follow industry-standard security practices. Videos are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. For Pro subscribers who cancel, synced texts are retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings.

We use the following third-party services: Apple Sign-In (authentication), Google Sign-In (authentication), Apple App Store (subscription processing), and Cloudflare (content delivery and storage). Each service has its own privacy policy.

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all data (GDPR right to erasure), export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, use the in-app settings or contact us at [email protected].

Master Prompter is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email.
